USE GOD'S STRENGTH

When I started my ministry of helping those who are hurting and alone, I asked God to always give me a heart that breaks for those who hurt. I knew that if I was down to that humble level, then God would always give me the words to help and reach out with.

Recently, God showed me something new in my own life and I pray that it will be of encouragement to you all!

He showed me that I could exchange my weakness for new strength in Him. So many times we become overwhelmed by our circumstances, that we can't see nothing but the circumstance. Satan is the one that brings all these problems on us, but God showed me that we can either stay at that level with satan and keep getting pounced by him or we can take our weakness and use it in a way to become stronger through God. Satan thinks that when he puts these circumstances on us, that he is going to bring defeat in our lives, but God turns that around.

Think of it as a checkerboard game. There are red pieces and black pieces. We are the red pieces, representing the good and the black pieces are representing the evil that surrounds us. If we just sit on the board and don't make a move, then we will find ourselves completely surrounded by evil, but if we use God's strength and move as He allows, then we will eventually get across the board and God will take what seemed as defeat and crown us with success and new strength.

I would like to share some favorite bible verses of mine, that go along with what I've said.

II Corinthians 12:7-10...And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake: for WHEN I AM WEAK, THEN AM I STRONG.

I pray that these words from God will bring a new dawn of hope for you all today! God bless and take care!
