LOPSIDED LEANING

Many of you enjoy the season that has started,
spring. You look out and you say the grass is green,
the days are getting longer, and the springbirds are
back. Then you say this pain I bare is not a new and
refreshing feeling, in fact for many of you it is
unbearable and makes it hard to live any quality of
life.
The changing of the seasons doesn't mean the
changing of what we go through in our bodies.
However Paul the Apostle told God he had an
infirmity that was unbearable and God told him
something that rings through to my ears when I am in
pain or my ears ring, or old child hood memories
that are not good that helps get me through the hard
time.
2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My
grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is
made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will
I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of
Christ may rest upon me.
Think about those words God said his grace
"unmerited favor" is enough to get Paul through and
that His God's strength is made perfect in Paul's
weakness.
Think of these words the God of the universe is
saying he is enough for Paul and us to get through.
He (God) is saying lean on me... I am here to help
and hold you up when you think you can not make
it... I am here. You may be leaning lopsided but now
you are leaning on me.
Today, when your pain is unbearable... take time,
stop, to call on God, read the Word or go into a
dark quiet room and pray and say... I need you to
lean on as I cannot stand on my own strength
today... so God please allow me to lean on you.
I had to do this after being told I had a brain
tumor. The first thing I thought was death.
But then I started leaning on God and through his
strength I was able to recover fairly well.
Yes I still have ringing ears and other things but
when they rear their ugly heads I just tell God... I
need to lean on you and he gives me the strength.
Yes I believe God can and will heal me but until
then I am going to be lopsided while leaning against
him. Take time today in your pain whether it be
physical, emotional or what ever it may be to lean
and be lopsided a little while you are going through
that. Let God be there for you to lean against.
