DOES HE HEAR? DOES HE CARE?

"WHERE IS GOD?" you ask. "Why doesn't He answer? Does He hear me? Does He care?"

God is where He always is. If you are a believer who has opened your heart to Him, then He is right there within you. And, if you are not yet a believer, you can be right now. You can ask God to forgive your sins and ask Jesus to come into your heart---to be your Savior and He will---immediately. That is His greatest desire. And, if you did that before and have turned away, His greatest desire is for you to return...right now. Don't wait till you're "better". You won't get better on your own---you'll only get bitter.

 Of course God answers, but not always in the way we are expecting. Does He hear you? Oh yes. That is why He tells us to pray--to ask, to seek, to knock.

 Matthew 7:6-8. Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8"For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened

EVERYONE WHO ASKS RECEIVES! Not just some people.

Does He care? More than we could ever imagine. As we get to know God's Word, we get to know God Himself. We begin to understand His character---His goodness and holiness---His amazing Love for us. We begin to really GET it. Get what? That He who didn't spare His only Son, but freely gave Him for us, will not spare anything to meet our needs and minister to us when we cry out to Him. He always hears us because He is always LISTENING. I don't know why the God of the universe, the King of Kings, the Lord of all creation would be listening for my cry and for yours, BUT HE IS! And it doesn't matter how often we cry to Him; there's no limit. He won't ever say to you, "that's it! I've had enough! I don't want to hear another word." People might say that, but God never will. King David said:

Psalm 55:17  (NIV) Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and he hears my voice.

Psalm 18:6  (MSG)A hostile world! I call to GOD, I cry to God to help me. From his palace he hears my call; my cry brings me right into his presence-- a private audience!

Are you in need right now? Cry out to God or whisper His Name; He will always hear and He will always answer you---HIS way.

plans to take care of you,

 not abandon you,

plans to give you
