FUTURE HOMES

 John 14:2-3 (KJV) In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
 

 No matter how large your home may be---when you are confined to it, you are (seemingly) in a kind of prison. You're really not, but that's for another discussion. But God has many MANSIONS and Jesus is literally preparing a place for you and for me!

Isn't it amazing to realize that Jesus has been spending 2000 years preparing this place for us? God created the Heaven and Earth in only six days, so imagine what He is creating for us in 2000 years. Imagine the glorious mansion we each have waiting for us---probably more like cities and worlds. Wow!

But, while we our mansions are waiting for us, let's make sure that we aren't just taking up space here on earth while we wait for THEM but, rather, that we are waiting on GOD and serving Him form right where we are. We can serve him "from the inside" in so many ways; by prayer and intercession, by calling or writing to people in need, by writing poetry or prose that will be a blessing to others who are suffering, by getting on the internet and creating websites that will minister to others---and the list could go on and on.

The point is SERVE HIM. Turn what may seem to be a disadvantage into an advantage. You have time, you have privacy---USE IT WISELY and set your mind on being thankful.

Let's be happy NOW and let our delight be in Him. Yes, we have great promises waiting for us in Heaven, but we have amazing promises just waiting for us to claim right now if we will.

• TRUST in God
  
  Psalm 37:3-5 (AMP)Trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) in the Lord and do good; so shall you dwell in the land and feed surely on His faithfulness, and truly you shall be fed.

• DELIGHT in God
  
  4 Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart.

• RELY on God
  
  5 Commit your way to the Lord [roll and repose each care of your load on Him]; trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) also in Him and He will bring it to pass.
