ANXIETY

Fear itself can be a healthy thing. If we see a danger, we should react with fear as a God-give method of causing us to avoid or combat dangerous situations. And, after the situation is over, there is usually a post-reaction; we might be shaky. But healthy fear will wear off. Unhealthy fear becomes a familiar and sometimes daily part of our life. This fear is disabling and needs to be dealt with. And in order to deal with it properly, the root(s) have to be dealt with. God has an answer to fear, but if there are chemical imbalances or a physical conditions behind the fear, then those causes need to be dealt with.
