Time
by Chico
Well, let me
tell you a few things about Time.
It’s going to
take time to tell you about Time.
Time I do have.
Sentenced to a
lifetime in prison,
I have nothing
but Time.
In prison, I
have nothing but Time.
By the way,
thank you for your time.
There was a
time I was a boy doing Time,
But, now, I’m a
man.
I always
thought about settling down,
But thought I
was still young
And had time to
mess around.
(I’m such a
clown).
Well, this time
the Judge
Really put the
scaffold down.
In time, I’ll
be a master of Time.
In time, my
family
Will get lost
in Time.
In time, out
Time will come,
But there’s
still time
For you and me
to get right with God,
And God’s got
Good News.
Don’t get
caught up in satan’s web like me.
Be free!
Time comes all
too soon
As Daytime
turns to Nightime,
Divided by Sun
and Moon.
With all due
respect,
As far as Time
goes,
Use Time wisely
because
Time comes in
no time…
Then you’re
through.
Time—precious
Time.
