I would
like to talk briefly about food intolerance.
The
leading causes of food intolerance are:
Artificial
colors, lactose intolerance ( all dairy) food
additives, (MSG) monsodium glutamate, bistamines
( compunds in fermented foods like cheese,
sauerkraut, alcohol, aged cheeses, and food
preservatives.
Some people
have a Gluten allergy. Gluten a protein in
wheat, has been found to trigger allergies that
can cause bloating, arthritic conditions and
just a feeling of fullness along with colon
problems. Pasta's, wheat based breads, cookies,
doughnuts, pies etc.
When you
begin to change your way of eating you will be
able to eat a food and then know what caused the
allergic reactions such as a headache, rash,
stomach ache along with bloating or more
arthritis pains. When eating whatever you like
its hard to find the culprit of what is
bothering you.
Personally,
if I eat too much wheat, I bloat and have more
arthritic pains. I also have a milk and all
dairy allergy. I have found that eggs and
chicken bother my system as well. I could only
find this out by going on an elimination diet.
When you go on an elimination diet eat bland
foods such as fruits and vegetables slowly
introducing one food at a time.
I
recommend using natural foods such as:
Butter (
instead of margarine)
olive oil (
instead of polyunsaturated oils, lard)
Brown rice (
instead of white rice)
honey, stevia,
agave nectar, fructose ( instead of aspatamine,
sugar, sweet and low or any man made product)
herbs for
cooking instead of packaged foods for
seasonings.
sea salt (
instead of iodized)
You WILL feel
better when eliminating so much salt and bullion
cubes and anything coming from a package or can.
Try buying
some fresh yams and sweet potato's this week.
Add colors to
your plate God created many different colors in
vegetables and fruits.
Add some real
butter to your vegetables.
If you like
eggs please look for organic; they are not that
much more expensive and you will notice a big
difference.
Happy Eating!
