SEA SALT Sea salt can be found in a health food store or a health dept. in your grocery store. I recommend sea salt over iodized salt. I hope by now you are cutting back on salt. Sea Salt does have minerals so don't cut salt out entirely.
Here is a great
recipe and very easy for potassium broth. This is a
broth so you will be discarding the vegetables and
only drinking broth.
5 carrots
5 potatoes ( wash
very good keep skin on)
cabbage (small)
2 onions
2 garlic cloves
celery ( 5 or 6
stalks)
bring to boil then
turn down on low cover and cook 2 hrs slowly.
discard vegetables and drink broth. Very healing!
You can double recipe if you'd like or add or
subtract from recipe.
GARLIC
Garlic is one of the
most powerful herbs on the planet for cleansing and
detoxifying. You can chew them whole or chop them
up and swallow with some unsweetened juice. Add some
garlic minced fine and raw and put on your brown
rice...Try some Bragg's liquid amino's this week
too. You can call the store and ask ahead if they
carry it. It can only be found in a health store or
health food department in grocery store. It is
excellent on rice or add some to your potassium
broth. Potassium along with calcium/magnesium is
very important for leg cramps and so you wont get
osteoporosis.
Add some fresh lemon
to your water this week. Lemons are so good for the
liver. Lemons also add a nice taste to the water.
Soda pop depletes calcium. Diet pop has artifical
sweeteners and should not be used. If you must just
gradually cut back.
DRIED FRUITS
The last food I would
like to talk about is dried fruits. Always buy dried
fruit from a health food section as all others in
the grocery store have preservatives on them. The
BHT/nitrates causes headaches. Some dried fruits are
raisins, figs, apricots, dried pineapple, apples---
just to name a few. They are a nice treat and can
be used as a desert or for a sweet tooth.
To sum it up here it
is in a nutshell;
sea salt
lemons added to water
potassium broth
Bragg's liquid
Amino's
dried fruits
