SUCH GREAT GIFTS new
The Lord has sent me
such great gifts
life and love and all of this
even in sin
He still loves me
to the end
yes He has sent me lots of gifts
but most of all
He sent me feeling from within
love with happiness
so soft and sweet
feeling unidentified
that makes me feel warm and safe
but above all
the great Lord gave me friends
to love and hold
through this hard life
and just to share through the night
so thank you Lord for my great gifs
of life and love and all of this
but above all Lord thank you for my friends
JESUS LEADS ME new
Jesus leads me
thick and thin
He'll stand by me
till the sweet bitter end
He loves me
for this I know
'cause He has told me so
in my dreams
late at night
He'll show me to the light
which is the Lord
I now see
for He sent his Son
just to save me
and now
hand in hand
heart to heart
Jesus loves me
and He has since the start
and in till the sweet bitter end
and as will I in my heart
AS I TRIED TO SLEEP
As I tried to sleep last night
I heard the door with a creak
As I looked at you staring back at me
I heard you say to me
"Come my child
Follow me
and you will see
how beautiful my love can be"
We went through my past
and at last I saw that you
were never far away
and when I doubt
You never failed to come my way
to comfort me
and rock me to sleep
So now as I sleep
I feel the love you feel for me
I KNOW YOU LOVE ME
I know you love me
from deep inside
from the way you cease to hide
I know I've sinned
and lost my way now and then
but still You love me
with no end
I love You too
I know You see
from the way
You never lost faith in me
EVIL'S LIKE A VAMPIRE
Evil's like a vampire
searching for a vein
He feeds off all your pain
He hopes to find a weak spot
to feed him every day
but you can win the fight
with just this one way
Repeat it every day
Just trust in faith
and hope you'll see
soon enough to be
God will come to lead the way
if you just believe
