A friend stopped by to see me the week of Christmas and I had my Christmas China sitting on the table. She told me how beautiful it looked sitting there. I said thank you, but I think I spent my money foolishly because I only see it a couple of weeks each year. She said that I should use it every day.

Tonight while I was doing dishes this verse came to me. If we have accepted Jesus into our hearts as our Personal Saviour, then we are children of the King. Every time we sit down to eat, there is royalty sitting at the table because we belong to the King.

I started wondering why we don’t use our good china and other good things and just save them for company. I think many times it is because we don’t feel like we are worth while; that we’re not important enough to use our good things every day. I have been washed in the Precious Blood of Jesus and His Royal Blood flows through my veins and that makes me royalty.

Have you allowed Jesus to deposit His Royal Blood and His Unconditional Love in your heart? You will never know real happiness or peace until you make Him the King of your heart and life. Thank God that one day this Royal King adopted me into His Family.
